Summary/Abstract: The purpose of our research is to adapt the multidimensional measuring instruments of loneliness in Moldova and to indicate the psychometric characteristics of Schmidt N., Sermat V.Differential Loneliness Scale (1983), and Кorchagina S. Loneliness Test (2008).The experiment involved 304 young people aged between 20-25 years old (M = 22.59, SD = 2.07): 152 young men (m = 22.03, SD = 1.07), 152 young women (M = 23.14, SD = 2.62). Our results certaintyprovide us to affirm that the translated and usedinstruments, show a free of error measurement, contribute to adjust the meaning of a particular mental construct, and represent a safe and consistent psychological evaluation of loneliness in young adults from Moldova.
