Summary/Abstract: Hayali Küçük Ali who was born in 1886 in Istanbul began to perform Karagoz Shadow Play in the late Ottoman Period and he continues to perform Karagoz Shadow Play after establishment of the republic succesfully. He become the most successful artist by his abilities, determination and assiduity in the Republic Period. He endears Karagoz Shadow Play with his dubbing in radio to all country. Besides, Küçük Ali makes some figurations and orders Karagoz Shadow Plays according to current conditions and writes new play texts and published them. He makes a lot of innovations in his figurations. He uses plain language and is waried of using jargon and vulgarity and brings informativeness to forefront. He provides to bring to future Karagoz Shadow Play with his Karagoz Shadow Plays and his tape cartridges which he recorded. His figurations and tape cartridges are found in the minister of culture and tourism, TRT, National Library, Ankara Etnography Museum, Bursa Turkish and Islamic Art Museum, Istanbul Municipal Museum, UNIMA Turkish National Centre. Hayali Küçük Ali was died in 7 December 1974 in Ankara.
