Summary/Abstract: The rapidly progress of technology caused the world to become smaller in terms of communication and this condition has provided an opportunity for nations to know each other easily and to be in a close relation. Consequently the first thing that is sought in a foreign country was the products which symbolizes that country’s natural beauty, the way of living and the culture. The expression “Actually, dollies are ourselves” shows this opinion. Likewise the dollies of Soğanlı Village yields a bridge between past and future as they are an example of local culture and maintains their traditional properties with the quality that provides international culture trade. Although the materials used in the production of dollies showed diversity throughout the years, permanence was still ensured by the costumes which are very close to their original ones and this way, cultural values can be transferred to the next generations.
