Summary/Abstract: The progress of fore palate and rear palate consonants /g/ used in Old Turkish period within Modern Turkish have attracted attention of Turkish Language researchers. But only general outline of rules were mentioned about them. In this article some specific cases of fore palate and rear palate consonants “g” which have been out of consideration of researchers are mentioned and their historical development throughout Old Turkish and Old Anatolian Turkish. Examples of construction affixes which include fore palate and rear palate consonants have been given from all historical written language of Turkish considering its functions of derivation from nouns or verbs.
