The beginning of implementation of the administrative dispute reform in Croatia

Summary/Abstract: The implementation of the reform of the administrative dispute in the Republic of Croatia began on 1 January 2012. The author analyzes the main objectives of the reform, as well as initial experience after the semiannual implementation of the new Administrative Disputes Act. The specifics of the new administrative dispute compared to the other types of court proceedings, the factors that have limited prospects for success of the reform, and preparation for amending the mentioned Act have also been discussed in the article.
