Regional self-government and local social policy entities. Terms and conditions of cooperation

Summary/Abstract: The paper concerns the intersectoral collaboration in social policy. It focuses on the cooperation between regional self-government and local social policy entities. The main goal of this text is to present the factors which affect this partnership. The presented analysis of the relation tries to describe “imponderables” of this relation. It points out the conditionings of collaboration apart from the legal or economic issues. The paper is based on the mixed qualitative (in-depth interviews) and quantitative (paper pencil interviews) research. It shows the different aspects of the relation amongst voivodships self- government and commune, land district and NGO’s.
