PRAYER AS THE ACTUALIZATON OF OUR FAITH

Summary/Abstract: October the eleventh, two thousand and twelve was the fifteenth anniversary of the opening of the Vatican Council II. At that time, due to the initiative of Benedict XVI, the Year of Faith began. There were two main aims of papal decision: the intellectual and the personalisating one. Firstly, the Pope wanted believers to deepen their faith and understand its contents better. Secondly, the Year of Faith was a sort of help for Christians to keep personal connection with God. It is really important to realize that faith, which is the grace, needs not only intellectual reflection, but mainly constant contact with the Lord by praying. Hence, this article is meant to demonstrate that our faith is being made current mostly during the prayer. The prayer, which is a dialogue, an intimate encounter with the Personal God.Every human-being ought to acknowledge God as one’s Lord and answear His revelation through believing. The orison is precisely this answear. This is the essential form of dialogue between human and God, therefore I wish to prove that the prayer should be something oecumenical in every Christian’s life. For there is an inseparable togetherness between faith, prayer and life. The faith, which is not being updated by diurnal prayer, dims. Conversely, the orison, which has no mainstay in a faith, that is strong, becomes a purblind prayer. Wherefore, praying is human devoir. It is crucial to perpetuate and elaborate our belief.This work presents characteristics of a real human prayer. Firstly, I have to ascertain, that God - the Creator is a prime mover of this dialogue. Every human, as the most superb God’s creation, is obligged to pray to answear His call. Orison has strictly personal nature. It is also a conversation of two partners, so it is not enough to participate in prayer. It is needed to hire all humanity, while answearing God. Moreover, I would like to emphasize that belief, which is involved in a dialogue with Personal God, gives us a chance to apprehend Him as the Holy Trinity. We pray to God Father through His Son, Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit. The last one is especially dedicated to human orison: The Holy Spirit is a teacher of prayer, but also its originator. Therefore it is so significant to pray to the Holy Spirit, not only through Him.
