Summary/Abstract: The student – teacher interaction is something that everyone experiences at some point in life. Without doubt, the aftertaste of this type of encounter has repercussions for all the actors involved. However, due to the nature of things, students’ lives are more prone to be affected by their teachers’ influence than the other way round. For this reason, teachers should always use their power and authority wisely. Due to the great responsibility that they have in relation to the students that they do not only formally teach, but also attempt to perfect, it is utterly important for teachers to be aware of the narcissistictendencies humans share. Therefore, this paper represents not only a cry for help for the sake and sanity of students everywhere, but also an attempt of rising the awareness of teachers as far as their impact on their students’ future fates is concerned.
