Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt of a full description of the artistic style of Władysław Stanisław Reymont's prose. This huge multi-thematic prose of the Nobel Prize winner, which could be ascribed to several literary poetics (realisticnaturalistic, impressionistic, symbolical and expressionistic), characterizes with variety and syncretism of stylistic-linguistic formation of literary texts. There are three main stylistic codes typical of Reymont's writing: - the simple style associated with the poetics of realistic-naturalistic prose, used to present outer, material and objective reality. Its characteristic feature is mimesis, i.e. the use of native language variations for to achieve stylization; - the rich style associated with the influence of impressionistic poetics on Reymont's writing technique. Its characteristics are details, solidity, concrete shape and impressive character; - the overloaded style associated with expressionistic poetics, used in order to present inner reality, the subjective and spiritual world of feelings and emotions. Its characteristics include: lofty tone, moody, lyrical, poetic, symbolic, mysterious character.
