Summary/Abstract: The article comprises a brief review of the most important research in the field of Russian and Kazakh linguistics, specified by substantial gains in the frame of certain spheres. Nowadays, those trends predetermine the main directions of scientific studies. It is pointed out here that linguistics in Kazakhstan follows the priority ways of polyphonic contemporary language studies. The author analyses long-tenn benefits in the frame of the integrative paradigm, taking into account all approaches to linguistic units investigation.
