Literature in the Launching Monthly and Weekly Papers in Vojvodina

Summary/Abstract: This study forms part of a bigger research, the subject of which being the presence of literature in the Hungarian nationality papersof the new state, Yugoslavia between 1947–1952. The study analyses the literary materials of the first one or two years after the launching of the first monthly sheet Vajdasági Dolgozó Nő [Vojvodinan Working Woman], Dolgozó Nő [Working Woman], Ifjúság Szava [Word of Youth], 7 Nap [7 Days] and the Dolgozók [Workers] trade-union papers, certainly dealing with the launch of these papers as well.It takes into consideration the literary works published in the papers: the writings of Hungarian writers from Vojvodinan, of Southern Slav, Hungarian and that of foreign authors’ and poets’.
