Summary/Abstract: The shorten process is a new legal institution, introduced by motu proprio Mitis Iudex Dominus Iesus. It’s aim is to simplify and make the marriage invalidation process faster, respecting the rules of inseparable marriage bonds. The thesis includes the most important issues which have to face and know people who are interested in taking into consideration their complain in the shorten process. The definition of circumstances, necessary for process beginning, as well as description of process stages with regarding the concrete dates, should make the definition of what type of cases should be qualified for taking into bishop’s process consideration easier.
