Study on Šauliai University Full-Time Students' Economic Activity and Aspects Related to their Work

Summary/Abstract: The paper analyses social and other aspects related to employed full–time students at Šauliai University. The aim of the paper is to identity the importance of assigned works in relation to studies, reasons of getting a job, students’ overload, salary, sutisfaction with the performance in job places and remuneration. The study was performed in April 2007. The survey included questionnaries filled in by 180 students from all Šauliai University faculties. The answers were processed, analysed and sistematised. According to the results obtained it can be claimed that students are looking into the future, want to make a career and get a job as soon as possible. They have a vision of fanancial stability and experience in the future.
