Summary/Abstract: The development of digital projects for eLearning means also creation of digital maps that can easily be transformed in animated maps for teaching military history. The essence of the new approaches in learning is the successful blending of new technologies with updates on pedagogical requests’ and the aim of the paper is to present a perspective on the importance of digital maps as sheet of practice as a monitoring tool of students activity. This article approach a Learning Management System as case study involving learning elements and the use of multimedia support in the teaching activity for learning MILITARY HISTORY and the development of didactical games. The existence of such games can be base to create assessment tools and their use will increase the students’ competences in military science.
