Summary/Abstract: The status of the general principles of administrative law derives, at the European Union level, mainly from the case-law of the Court of Justice of the European Union, as well as from the practice of international law. This paper seeks to identify the principles deduced from the Community Court, with particular application to the principle of motivation.
