Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this research is to discuss how to use game-theoretical models in coopetition studies and bridge the gap between coopetition studies and game theory. The paper’s main contribution is twofold. First, it is argued that there are advantages to using game theory in coopetition studies. Second, the game theoretical models in coopetition studies for normal-form and extensive- form games are demonstrated.
