Summary/Abstract: In the article we tried to present one of the sources of the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina after the second world war, which can be found in the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia. We described bosnian chil- dren: war orphans, children without one of the parents, displaced and sick children, who in the years 1945 - 1956 recovered their health in Slovenia and were repatriated with few exceptions. However, we would like to call attention to the usefulness of gathering all the different evidences, already listed in the article and saved in one place, in the frames of some scientific or archivistic project in a unitary computer basis. Such project would result in at least approximate number of children, names and surnames included, sometimes even birth dates or residences with full addresses. Those children are now almost retired and according to our experiences young pensioners are the most frequent us- ers of the archival material. So why don't we recall the part of their past, that might have escaped their memory?
