Recreation and physical activity of elderly people – example of the residents of Łódź voivodship

Summary/Abstract: AbstractThe purpose of the article is to describe the problem of the systemic aging ofa society. Demografic forcasts indicate that the proces is progressive and irreversible. One of the most important aspects of the aging of society and its impact is the state of health of seiors. Physical activity is crucial in keeping ones active and slowing the proces of aging. The investigation outlines the levels of physical ativity and rectearion among seniors in Łódź Voivodeship.
