Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on various interpretations of travelling to the Greek capital, Athens, presented in Bulgarian interwar literature. In its second section, the paper concentrates on Dreams near Acropolis (1938) by Dimitar Shishmanov, which presents journey of modern man through time to previuous culturual epochs.
