Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the general considerations on the relationshipbetween Public and Private Law and on the relationship of the ProfessionalSoldiers Act (Act no. 221/1999 Coll., on Professional Soldiers) to otherlegal regulations. The contribution also defines and interprets certainterms (family, household/shared household, close person, child, spouse/partner) at which demonstrates the combination of both legislativebranches. It attempts to demonstrate that the laws so called armedlegislation, particularly the Professional Soldiers Act is not a world closedon itself, but rather an area that is a part of the unified legal systemlinked to a number of laws, including Private Law (especially to the CivilCode and Labour Code).
