Summary/Abstract: The article shows one point of the research which was conducted by means of an experimental method in which the authoress checked if there exists an influence of expressive biblioterapheutic actions on understanding the crux of emotions by children at school age. Assuming that an educational-therapeutic relation is a relation of two persons who stand in a situation of uncovering their own faces – their own I, the authoress depicts the quality of these relations and settles them in expressive biblioterapheutic actions. Uncovering the face takes place by means of a deeper and deeper knowing oneself and the Other. The selected results of the research reveal that a deep knowledge of oneself due to a better understanding the crux of emotions, especially because of improving this kind of knowledge and experience in understanding emotions named “compassion,” is reflected by the improvement in the society relation, then it possesses the value of the change not only in the intrapersonality areas, but also in the interpersonality areas.
