Summary/Abstract: Climate change is a challenge for the socio-economic development of all mankind, which requires efforts to address global problems worldwide. Awareness of these ideas is the focus of the agreements reached at the 21st session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.Along with the agreed mechanisms and means of complying with binding decisions, the governments of the countries apply and implement various tools and mechanisms based on international trade and investments to contribute to significant greenhouse gas reductions. Therefore, an investigation was made of the interaction between the development of environmentally friendly business activities based on new technologies and standards and the functioning of commercial and investment measures through which decisions in this aspect are generated within the framework of international trade. A general view of the atmospheric pollution is presented. A retrospective analysis of previous conferences was made, outlining the efforts made to overcome the negative consequences.
