Postmodernism in the Social Sciences: State of Paradigm

Summary/Abstract: Research intention of this paper is to define the influence of the postmodern paradigm on the social sciences. Тhe main point of paper is that postmodernism has to be treated as an unavoidable conceptual location in the modern understanding of the social sciences. Multidimensional and multidisciplinary penetration of postmodernism in the established modernist (scientific) circles has eclectic, not syncretic, nature. I think that such constellation is more grammar of “postmodernization of science” process, than the grammar of “scientification of postmodernism” process. Concluding remarks are going to point the foundation of a political as a continuous changeable narrative of symbolic horizon, which justify the use of power, not in postfoundational but in the postmodern sense.
