Summary/Abstract: The period between the two wars was one of the most turbulent in the Romanian history, politically strained, but flourishing from the cultural point of view. Starting from the conflict between political parties, ideological variety, social consequences, to the intensity of cultural production, each issue being perfectly interconnected, all built together an acid, but interactive reality. The febrile period begins with the year of the creation of Great Romania, 1918, and ends up with the year of the final coming up of communism, 1944, almost 30 years when democracy and authoritarianism had been fully used.
