Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the possibilities of creating intercultural competences in primary school students. In this reflection we would like to present an overview of the aspects of current theory and best practice in the area of intercultural education and multicultural. We consider also the curriculum for schools and those children who start early school education in September 2017. We saw that the lack of the information about cultural diversity seems to create a barrier to conti­nue and create conditions for learning about its characteristics in the course of everyday learning situations. Finally, we show present and absent (and recommended) solutions that enable students to successfully function in a “diverse world”. We consider the fact that switching any educational activities should be accompanied by critical thinking and respect for different perspectives across cultures. In this article we reveal some practices such as storytelling, the inclusion of educational intercultural history for teachers and students, and the intercultural use of fairy tales during lessons called: Persona Dolls and special communication without violence between school and the family.
