Summary/Abstract: This work is intended to be an initial approximation on the importance of the body in the poetry of Ausiàs March. The women of Ausiàs March are very different from those of the troubadours, the “dolce stil novo” or Petrarca. We believe that difference is mainly due to the “embodiment” or corporality of the women in the poetry of Ausiás March.
