Summary/Abstract: Thе author discusses some topical issues in early language education. She presents a scientific research carried out at “St. Kliment Ohridski” University of Sofia relating to the Narrative Format model of second language acquisition. The aim of this research was to conduct a behavioural analysis of teachers implementing the model and seek meaningful relationships between different teacher modes of behaviour and teachers’ ability to exercise empathy.
