Summary/Abstract: Political culture is a broad and capacious term. For the purposes of this articleI have acknowledged that it is a set of views, attitudes and beliefs prevalent in a givencommunity. Analyzing from this angle the behavior of the inhabitants of the landof Brandenburgia and the former Gorzowskie Voyvodship, I have tried to demonstratecommon features, as well as differences between the communities of the border region.Both communities had to cope with a difficult period of system transformation, whichin addition to benefits, posed a lot of problems.
