Summary/Abstract: Marriage is a relationship, which is an essence of a family bond in every cultureand every epoch. However, contemporary relation between a man and a woman are notso straightforward and obvious.Love is a first declaration of fiancés, who associate it with a feeling, whileforgetting about responsibility and ‘giving’ to another person.Faithfulness is usually understood in a very narrow way related mainly to a sexualsphere, whereas it also means loyalty towards your spouse in all issues and aspects.Honesty in a marriage requires empathy as well as transparency allowingmutual understanding and dialog.Till death do us apart is a pledge, which states lack of divorce, but also desireof intimacy, co-existence and presence with a husband or wife.
