Legal nature of the resolutions of a faculty council in a doctoral proceedings

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of the legal nature of the resolutions adopted by the council of a scientific unit during the proceedings for granting the PhD degree. As a rule, the relevant provisions of an administrative procedure are applied in this case, but there are also some differences which affect the differentiation of the legal nature of resolutions adopted in doctoral proceedings. Some of these resolutions are hybrids: their legal nature is determined by the content of the resolution (positive or negative).
