Arguments for a Qualitative Analysis of Discourse and Verbal Interaction

Summary/Abstract: Our article attempts to deal with problem that we have been faced with in analyzing our corpus. For instance, we will explain why we have resorted to a qualitative approach, mentioning the issues triggered by it as well. The focus will be on a project on the choice of names for babies in the French-Arab mixed couples. Our objective has been to draw attention to negotiating identity between parents when discussing this decision.
