Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this paper is the presentation of teaching opportunities of an e-learning platform in foreign language teaching. The research was conducted by introducing e-learning at a technical university. Foreign language teachers are constantly in search of more modern and attractive methods, which could give them the best effectiveness of teaching. The authors of the paper will try to answer the question: will e-learning support foreign language lessons with any new educational methods, or perhaps it will only be either complementary or sufficient e-learning course for traditional teaching? The results of the research are based on the opinion of foreign language teachers, who participated in the e-learning training.
