Summary/Abstract: After the collapse of communism in the 1990s, Poland lost interest in the Arab World. At that time, after all, Poland was concentrated on political and economic transformations, gaining membership in NATO and the European Union, the building of a strategic partnership with the United States, and the resumption of relations—severed by the People’s Republic of Poland (PRP) in 1967—with Israel. As a result, relations with the traditional partners of the PRP, such as Libya, Syria, Algeria, or Iraq, cooled and loosened, or were even sidelined.
