Summary/Abstract: The creation and expansion of the European Union are generally understood as economic and political processes. Geopolitical aspects are marginalized regarding their significant role. In theoretical sense the development of the European Union is based on the Heartland-Ri- mland concept of the Cold War, and in practical geostrategic sense it re-Russia and Europe have been reactivated. Those interests are based on theoretical aspects of Neo-Eurasian and they will be gradually imple- mented by the geopolitical use of networks of Gus Line and Pipe Line that will supply energy-depended Europe. Balkan, Serbia and Serbian countries must find their place in the context of current and future US- Russian competition to win Europe.
