Summary/Abstract: In this article the author studies the effects of French art on the European arts, compares different styles (realism, naturalism and impressionism, expressionism, futurism, cubism) on the score of the representation of reality and the representation of feelings. He deals with the Italian national art and its effects on the Hungarian art. Finally he introduces the exhibition of the Hungarian Roman artists.
