Summary/Abstract: The author presents one of the methodological research theories, that is a post-colonial theory. Using it, she tries to show a political discourse on Lower Silesia, by means of writings written by Henryk Worcell, a representative of the so called peasant trend hiding himself under the nickname of Tadeusz Kurtyka. Through his stories, the author presents the functioning of the so called Piast myth after the end of the World War II, and a discourse taking place between an official state propaganda and literature at that time.
