Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of scenario based-learning approaches on student achievement in upper elementary school Turkish grammar classes. For the experimentation part, an elementary school in Ataşehir, Istanbul was chosen and two groups, a control group and an experimental group, each consisting of 23 students, were formed among the 6th grade students. Quantitative research was obtained with experimental data qualitative data from students in the experimental group and the video camera images with the script to create a work. A scenario based-learning approach, by contrast to classical method, improves success in teaching Turkish Grammar. The motivation levels of students boosted. Consequently cooperation in the class has also increased.
