Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on discussing lexemes semantically connected with Islam, which were excerpted from the Dictionary Словник Чужомовних Слів by I. Boikiv, O. Iziumov,H. Kalyshevskyi, M. Trokhymenko first published in 1932 in Kharkiv, and comparing them with their equivalents in contemporary dictionaries of the Ukrainian language and dictionaries of foreign words.
