Summary/Abstract: Citizens and individuals, legal entities and institutions use archival material, among other thigs, for the protection of their personal rights, official or state interests. When issuing certificates, certificates, certified transcripts, photocopies and other official documents about the facts contained in the archival material The archives apply the Law on Archival Activityand the Law on Administrative Procedure. In the period 1996-2000. about 800 customers with different requests addressed the Archive of Tuzla. These are most often the requirements for issuing evidence of professional qualifications, passed exams, property and legal relations, etc. These data are contained in the school's archive funds, the funds of the authorities and the administration. The most frequent claimants were expelled and displaced persons who, due to war events in BiH, were left without original documents.
