Summary/Abstract: The present article is dedicated to the problem of translation and intercultural communication within the range of psycholinguistic. The author researches various aspects of attributes typical for the given language and culture. Special attention is given to the system of linguistic similarities and differences between various languages that refl ect upon parallels and diversities in the conceptual system of their users.
