Summary/Abstract: The People’s Choice. Most Wanted & Most Unwanted Paintings created by Russian emigrant artist’s team reflects the artist’s interpretation of a professional market research survey about aesthetic preferences and taste in paintings. Project was realized in countries all over the world — Russia, USA, German, China, Kenya and many others. Their provocative project intends to discover what truly people choose in painting art and what a perfect “people’s art” is. Project uses newest marketing technologies. But on the other case show irrationality of this popular conviction — our implicit believe in numbers, which can say nothing about personalities and theirs choice.
