Summary/Abstract: Myth of a contemporary man are appearing in media contents. The most important among them are myth about media themselves, their credibility, their freedom, and their independence. Media myth are a prerequisites of new political myth, which are one of the conditions for functional organization and maintenance of society in new historical circumstances.
