Summary/Abstract: Born in Moscow, half Georgian — after father, half Armenian — after mother, Okudzawa used to say about himself: грузин московского разлива. During his childhood in Tbilisi he had an opportunity to master Georgian language, however he considered Russian to be his native one. Moreover, he called himself (which wasn’t very popular) a Russian writer and a representative of Russian intelligence. Despite that the poet used to go back in his thoughts to his ancestors’ land, which is shown in many of his poems. The poems with biggest Georgian influence were analysed in this article.
