Ai Weiwei’s Architecture

Summary/Abstract: Main aim of the article is an analysis of selected works by Chinese multidisciplinary artist – AiWeiwei. The text presents a broad spectrum of architectural and artistic projects, it also showssimilarities and differences between above-mentioned disciplines and focuses on different formsof collaborations between artists and architects. Presented realizations illustrate new tendentions and trends in architectural design of XXI century and different rections to local and global context. Presented material may be treated as a starting point to broader research concerning interactionsbetween architecture and art.
