EVOLUTIONARY ASPECT OF THE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES OF THE FIRM

Summary/Abstract: The theory of competitive advantages in the economic literature has had a growing popularity in the US and West Europe after the 90s of the last century, but unfortunately this does not refer fully to Bulgaria. In this context, the paper aims to present key research findings in foreign literature and contributions to the industrial organizational and resource-based approach in the strategic economics, to attempt their complementarity and to outline directions for further development and future research. The author's idea is to show the need for clarification of the theory of competitive advantages in the context of their evolution over the years.
