Summary/Abstract: By means of this current study, the author wishes to bring to the attention of all readers some aspects related to the criminal process and respecting the principles of fundamental human rights in extradition proceeding. In what follows, the author brings to the reader's eye several landmarks regarding the characteristics, conditions and effects of extradition, as well as the rights which belong to a person subject to extradition and the principles which have to be taken into account for the procedure to develop according to law. The process of making all those aforementioned compatible with the extradition procedure is one of much interest these days, due to the importance of the consequences which they cause in the criminal law literature and judicial practice.
