Brief Analysis on the National Agency of Frozen Assets

Summary/Abstract: The idea of establishing an agency aimed at managing frozen assets in criminal trials has been announced by the Government ever since December 2014, being predicted that the agency become operational by the end of March 2015. Presently, the bill has been adopted by the Parliament and became Act no. 318/2015. The article examines the duties and vulnerable issues of the institution and the short term agenda which needs to be completed for its smooth working.
