The main changes in the education during the first year of Law and Justice governance

Summary/Abstract: The article characterizes the main changes in the education which Law and Justicemade during the first year of its governance (16th November 2015 till 15th November 2016). The author focuses on the increase of the age of compulsory education, cancellation of the teacher’s additional work hours, the year 6 primary school exam abolition, the possibility to appeal an exam’s results (regarding mature exam or professional qualifying exam), the possibility to take a picture of the examination papers and the changes of ‘The School Equipment’ programme. The last issue which author focuses on is the school system reform projected by Law and Justice. It means the shutdown of the junior secondary school, the extension of the time of education in: primary school (up to 8 years), secondary school (up to 4 years), technical school (up to 5 years) and the establishment of the first and second level of the Professional school (instead the vocational school).
