Summary/Abstract: This article aims to discuss the obligation to give reasonable cause notice by the employer, one of the pillars of the system of protection of workers employed for an indefinite period by the arbitrary dismissal. There is no legal definition regarding the legitimate reasons for the termination or directory such reasons in the labor code, so you should in this respect rely on the achievements of jurisprudence, which in addition to indication of the case law of the specific reasons already justifying termination of the employment contract, also indicates the manner in which notice must assessed in terms of its legitimacy. The article is an attempt to present complex issues of the legitimacy of termination of an employment contract for an indefinite period.
