Summary/Abstract: The Geto-Dacians organized themselves in powerful independent states, between the Vth and I st Century B.C. At the beginning of IVth Century B.C. in the northern territory of Danube, there was the powerful Geto-Dacian state, between others states. The King of this state, at the beginning of IIIth Century B.C., was Dromichaites. Macedonian state headed by Lisimachos invaded the Geto-Dacian state with a big army (100.000 soldiers). The Macedonian's troops were encircled and defeated. In 291 B.C. Lisimachos crossed again the Danube in order to impose his domination over the state of the Geto-Dacians but was defeated again.
